• The Indiana Fever evened their record at 1-1 on the young season as they used a 31-point fourth quarter to rally from behind and defeat the Phoenix Mercury, 97-93, Wednesday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

• Indiana wraps up its season-opening three-game home stand Friday night as the Fever host the Atlanta Dream (0-1) at 7:00 p.m. at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

• Friday’s game will feature Faith and Family Night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. It is also Lucas Oil Family Night presented by IndyStar with ticket packages featuring a ticket, Pepsi, chips, hot dog and a hat starting at $22.

• The Fever missed only two free throws in Wednesday’s win as they shot 28-for-30, 93.3 percent, from the foul line.

• After tying her previous career high with 13 points in the season opener against Dallas, Erica Wheeler set a new career best as she scored 16 points and shot 6-for-9 from the field against the Mercury Wednesday night. It also marks the first time in her WNBA career that she has scored in double figures in consecutive games.

• Erlana Larkins added her second consecutive double-double with 11 points and a game-high 10 rebounds against Phoenix. She only recorded one double-double during the entire 2015 regular season.

• Shenise Johnson finished with 16 points and recorded her highest assists total as a member of the Fever with a team-high seven in Wednesday’s win.

• After scoring only two points on 1-for-4 shooting Saturday against Dallas, Devereaux Peters tied for the team lead with 16 points as she shot 6-for-9 from the field and 4-for-4 from the foul line in 18 minutes off the bench on Wednesday.

• After sitting out Saturday’s season opener, Marissa Coleman made her season debut against the Mercury and finished with 11 points and four rebounds in 31 minutes.

• Tamika Catchings passed Shannon Johnson into sixth place in WNBA history ahead of Shannon Johnson (1,424) in career assists.
Series

Indiana took three of the four regular season matchups over Atlanta last season, including both meetings on the road. On August 7, 2015, the Fever piled up their second-highest scoring total in franchise in a 106-77 victory at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The all-time series is tied at 17-17, while the Fever hold a 10-8 overall record at home over the Dream.
