Fever Sign Free Agents Asia Taylor and Cyesha Goree

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Fever have announced the signing of free agents Cyesha Goree and Asia Taylor to training camp contracts.

Goree is a 6-3 forward who graduated from Michigan in 2015 and went undrafted in the WNBA Draft. She is currently playing overseas in Hungary where she averages 16.9 points and 10.1 rebounds for UNI Gyor. She ranks second in the Hungarian League in rebounds per game, and fourth in scoring. A native of Grand Rapids, Mich., she averaged 13.5 points and 10.6 rebounds in her final season at Michigan.

Taylor is a 6-1 forward who was a third-round draft pick of the Minnesota Lynx in 2014. She made 24 appearances with the Lynx as a rookie, but was waived prior to the 2015 season. Overseas, she played in Italy and Israel in 2014-15 and has split the 2015-16 season between Israel and South Korea. She averaged 16.1 points and 11.5 rebounds during 18 games with ASA Jerusalem. Taylor hails from Columbus, Ohio, and played college ball at Louisville where she was a first-team all-league selection and the American Athletic Conference Most Improved Player in 2014.
