INDIANAPOLIS – A team sports trainer for nearly 20 years, Indiana Fever athletic trainer Todd Champlin has stepped away as the team’s primary medical practitioner to become facility manager with Athletico Physical Therapy in Kokomo.
Champlin, who resides in Noblesville with wife Victoria, began work with the Fever during the club’s WNBA championship season of 2012. A licensed athletic trainer and board-certified sports physical therapist, he has been contracted with the Fever through St. Vincent Sports Performance and has dedicated himself to the health and well-being of Fever athletes on the court for six years.
Champlin worked primarily in hockey for a decade prior to joining the Fever. Prior to arriving in Indianapolis, he owned his own private practice and sports therapy business in his hometown of Buffalo, N.Y.
