Fever Secure Home Playoff Game

— Playoff Tickets Go On Sale Immediately Following Sunday’s Regular Season Finale

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Fever have clinched a berth in the 2016 WNBA Playoffs presented by Verizon. By virtue of Thursday’s loss by Seattle, the Fever are guaranteed at least the No. 6 seed in the playoffs and a guaranteed home game next week in the first or second round.

Indiana, currently in sixth place in the WNBA standings, still can finish as high as fourth place following games this weekend. Should the Fever obtain the No. 4 seed, Indiana would earn a first-round bye in the new WNBA playoff format, and would host a second-round game (date TBD) against a first-round winner.

If the Fever finish with the No. 5 or No. 6 seed, Indiana will host a first-round game on Wednesday, Sept. 21 against either Seattle or Phoenix. Final seeding, pairings, dates and times will not be determined until Sunday, Sept. 18.

Playoff tickets will go on sale at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets immediately following Sunday’s regular season finale against the Dallas Wings (4:00 p.m.).
