Stats: Shenise Johnson’s season was cut short due to injury. Johnson tore her ACL in a July practice. As a result, she appeared in only 14 games, starting 13. But, when she was on the floor, she was very effective for Indiana, as she averaged 11.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Johnson shot 43.3 percent from the floor, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc and 95 percent from the free-throw line.

Notable Performances:

May 14 vs. Seattle: In the season opener, Johnson finished with 24 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals. The 24 points and eight rebounds would end up being season highs for Johnson.

June 18 vs. Chicago: In a win over the Sky, Johnson scored 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting. She also racked up six rebounds, two assists and three steals.

July 1 vs. Connecticut: Against the Sun in early July, Johnson again filled up the stat sheet. She scored 22 points on 7-of-11 shooting, including going 3-of-5 from the 3-point line. Johnson grabbed six rebounds, dished out three assists and had two steals.
