INDIANAPOLIS The Indiana Fever (15-16) has clinched a berth in the 2013 WNBA Playoffs presented by Boost Mobile, by virtue of its victory this evening over the Connecticut Sun. It is the Fevers ninth consecutive playoff berth and its 10th in 14 years.

First access to the best seats and an exclusive online playoff offer is available at FeverBasketball.com until Monday, Sept. 16. Beginning Sept. 16 at 10:00 a.m., tickets for the Eastern Conference Semifinals will be available to the public at FeverBasketball.com, the Bankers Life Fieldhouse Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets.

The Eastern Conference Semifinals begin Thursday, Sept. 19. Final seeding, pairings, dates and times will not be determined until the conclusion of the regular season, Sept. 15. Based on Indianas likely No. 3 or No. 4 seeding, the Fever would host a home game either Saturday, Sept. 21 or Sunday, Sept. 22.

Below are facts about the Fever and the upcoming WNBA Playoffs.

Indiana has won three of its last four games. Since a 1-7 early-season mark due to a rash of injuries, the Fever has recovered to go 14-9 since that time despite still playing shorthanded.

With Saturdays win, the Fever is 8-7 at home this season and can win its last two home games to stretch its streak of 10 or more home wins to 12 straight seasons. Indiana already owns the WNBA record with 11 consecutive seasons of 10 or more home wins.

Indiana's nine-year run of reaching the postseason (2005-13) is the second-longest in league history. Seattle owns a current streak of 10 straight seasons (2004-13).

The 2013 playoff spot means 10 postseason appearances in the Indianas 14-year history. The Fever has reached the Eastern Conference Finals in five of the past seven years, with trips to the WNBA Finals in 2009 & 2012 and, of course, a WNBA title last season.

Lin Dunn will make her seventh playoff appearance overall as a WNBA head coach. She and Seattle's Brian Agler currently share the league's longest active playoff coaching streak with six straight appearances (2008-13).

Dunn has more playoff victories (18) than any female coach in WNBA history.

Indianas 15-16 record is within reach of a ninth consecutive season without a losing record. A 15-19 mark in 2004 was the last time Indiana failed to reach at least .500.
